A Visa debit card is a convenient way to use the speed and convenience of the electronic process while have the funds debited directly from your checking account. The Visa debit card is accepted anywhere you see the Visa logo and at most ATM’s for quick cash. The debit card is much more convenient then writing a check especially when you’re out of town. Most stores will only accept local checks. Your Visa debit card may also be used at most gas stations to allow you the convenience of paying at the pumps. You must have a checking account to apply for a Visa debit card and a credit report is pulled prior to approval.
